    Every day millions of animals are born into lives of unspeakable suffering & every day millions more suffer terrible deaths. Animal abuse is a Global problem in which gets looked past too often. Over time humans have developed the mindset that they are above animal kind. We have taken advantage of our fellow earthlings & abused them in ways that is now almost seen as okay in everyday life. Humans abuse animals in many different ways; for food, science, entertainment, sport, clothing, & physical/mental abuse to pets.

    Animal abuse has become accepted in today’s culture. About 94% of the worlds population is consuming meat. The meat industry is one of the main sources of animal cruelty. Every second, 300 animals are slaughtered for food. The meat industry ultimately has little to know laws about the methods & regulations to protect animals from harsh abuses during the process. Animals are starved, cramped into small living areas, & killed in cruel methods all without pain killers.

Animals are also used for science. Each year millions of rodents, primates, felines, &canines are used, tortured, & killed all in the name of research. Humans use animals to experiment on to find cures to human diseases, to test for reactions to see if products are safe, & for many other reasons. We continue to test on animals because it is cheaper, but yet we are receiving faulty results. These animals systems are different from a humans, thus not giving accurate results. It is unnecessary cruelty that can be avoided. There are plenty of more sophisticated non animal testing methods out there. It was wrong when we tested on orphans, blacks, G.I.'s, & Gypsies so why the government continues to let this go on is a large question that has yet to be answered.

For years we have used animals for entertainment. Circuses, zoo's, Marine parks, animal magic shows, &more. We force animals to preform unnatural behaviors that they would not do in the wild. They are left with no choice, trainers use abusive tools, such as whips, chains, & electric prods, to make them preform. Often times this leads to serious injury, which results in animals having to preform in fear & in pain. We hold these animals in captivity for most or all of their lives. Most of the time these animals are living in terrible conditions and traveling most of the time. This leads to health problems, shortened life spans & serious physiological damage. It can be seen as animals pacing back in forth in their captivities, shaking their heads, bad eating habits, yet can get as bad as animals eventually lashing out on their trainers.

Humans are the only living species to use the harm of another living thing as a sport. Hunting, Rodeos, Fishing, Bull/dog/cock Fighting, horse/dog races, & many more sports are cruelty to animals. In all sports, animals are either trained to fight until the death or because of the sport, their lives are very often cut short. We take advantage of these animals yet again.

Animals killed for clothing is extremely common & extremely disturbing. Animals are hunted & raised on fur farms, to later be killed for their fur/wool/skins. They are beaten, electrocuted, sheered, & skinned alive. When trapped in the wild, animals will attempt to chew their own limbs off in order to escape. Leather companies are not only terrible to animals, but terrible to our environment.. Tanning leather creates about 800,000 tons of toxic waste every year. China produces more fur than any other country. It is very common for them to use furs from dogs & cats, then label it as rabbit & sell it to other countries. Reptiles Are also in on the abuse. hey have their skulls smashed & are skinned, all while being fully conscious. We continue to wear others skin, while their are many non animal clothing alternatives.

Abuse to domestic pets is more common than one would think. In neglect cases, also known as passive abuse, where the crime is a lack of action rather than the action itself. Any type of neglect can cause suffering to an animal such as starvation, dehydration, parasite infestations, allowing a collar to grow into an animals skin, unsuitable shelter in extreme weather conditions, & failure to seek veterinary care when an animal needs medical attention. Animals can also be physically/mentally abused, this is also known as active cruelty. This is where a person deliberately & intentionally causes harm to an animal. Some of these cases are seen as the most disturbing & should be seen as signs of a person having bad psychological problems.

It is extremely common that animal abusers later go on to commit human crimes. Studies show that in many cases, the abusers have bad traumatizing childhood history that can cause psychological damage. They find power, control & comfort in bring harm to animals who can not defend themselves.
Because of the dangers to animals & potentially people too, one should always report animal abuse. It should also be addressed as a serious issue along with any other kind of abuse. All animals have nervous systems just as us humans do. They feel the pain that we are capable of feeling & they have feelings just as we do as well. If it is wrong to inflict pain on another human being, then why should it ever be okay to harm animals? They have rights as well, it is time to see our fellow earthlings as equals rather than objects. It is time for liberation.

Idk just so much has been going through my mind lately & I have finally realized that enough is enough . I don't deserve to be degraded by males . Honestly its gross that I've let so much go on for so long . I have become so fck'n sick of being looked at as an object rather than a human being . I'm getting older & it's time for change . Lately I've been avoiding the negative people in my life . Who in the long one will not benefit me .

I have been straight forward with males , instead of laughing their remarks off . I'm letting them know It's NOT okay & if you cant get past my exterior then you might as well not bother trying to contact me .
